This week Diploma Program students (with a few Year 11s) visited the The Guardian publishing house in King’s Cross. Experts in the field guided ICS London students through an investigation into how young people consume news today and what makes a news app relevant and engaging.

We are delighted to share that a group of our students recently took part in the Globeducate Academic Olympics, an inspiring annual event that brings together talented young thinkers from across the Globeducate network. This year’s competition was hosted by our sister schools ICS Milan and BES, who provided an exceptional environment for collaboration, creativity, and innovation. 

As part of the Globeducate Agenda Events, students in Years 7–9 took part this week in the WWF Wild Wisdom Global Challenge. Although the challenge is primarily aimed at Secondary students, it is open to all learners aged 10-14, giving a wide range of young people the chance to explore global biodiversity and environmental issues in an engaging, interactive way

A group of our secondary-school students had the extraordinary opportunity this week to attend the prestigious Royal Albert Hall as part of a cultural-sporting excursion, where they witnessed a landmark sumo wrestling tournament taking place in the heart of the city.

We’re thrilled to share that our school has been recognised by The Diana Award for our ongoing commitment to creating a kind, supportive and inclusive environment — we have officially been awarded the Wellbeing Badge!

We are proud to share that our Physical and Health Education teacher, Mr. Jared, has secured a charity place to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon as part of Team WWF. This remarkable achievement not only represents a significant personal challenge, but also creates an opportunity to bring meaningful connections between sustainability, health, and global citizenship into the heart of our school community.

We are proud to announce that students from ICS London achieved a significant success in the 2025 Globeducate Debate, emerging as winners in their pairing and demonstrating exceptional skill, insight, and professionalism throughout the event.

Students in Year 9 have been enthusiastically engaging in their community project - an important part of the curriculum that encourages them to reflect on their learning, collaborate with peers, and contribute meaningfully to their community. Designed for students aged 13–14, the community project empowers them to take initiative, explore real-world issues, and make a positive impact.
