We are proud to announce that Tianyu, a Year 12 student, has achieved first prize in the Drawing category of this year’s highly competitive Globeducate Art Competition. The competition, which invites students from schools across the Globeducate network to showcase their artistic talents, focused on the theme of Marine this year.

Our Year 8 students have taken a bold step in advocating for a cleaner, greener future by writing letters to UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. The topics they addressed reflect the pressing environmental challenges of our time, ranging from climate change and plastic pollution in oceans to sewage contamination in rivers. Their passionate, well-researched letters not only conveyed their concerns but also showcased their commitment to protecting the planet.

Last week, three of our students and a teacher proudly represented our school at the annual Globeducate Academic Olympics, hosted by O Castro British International School in Vigo, Spain. This prestigious event brought together students from Globeducate schools around the world, giving them the opportunity to collaborate on challenges in Robotics, Science, and Mathematics while building connections across borders.

Students at ICS London Primary achieved remarkable success in the London West division of the ISA Art Competition, securing both 2nd place and a 'Highly Commended' (3rd place) award.

In an exciting new cultural exchange, students from ICS London and Tokyo Metropolitan Yamazaki High School held their first virtual meeting on Thursday morning. This collaboration marks the beginning of an international project between the two UNESCO-associated schools, aimed at fostering cultural understanding and joint educational initiatives.

This term, students at ICS London have embarked on an inspiring journey of artistic collaboration, resulting in a large painting that pays tribute to influential women from around the globe. The project, spearheaded by the school's Art Club, culminated in a striking piece that resembles a Time magazine cover, celebrating the achievements and impact of these remarkable figures.

The much-anticipated Primary Sports Day of this year has come to a triumphant close, leaving behind a trail of exhilarating memories and showcasing the athletic prowess of our young students. This annual event, held at Paddington Recreation Ground's cricket pitch, lasted the entire day and featured a diverse array of sporting activities, ensuring every student had the opportunity to participate and shine.

The Year 13 graduation at the Frontline Club was a memorable and joyous event, marking the culmination of the students' hard work and dedication. As they move forward into new chapters of their lives, the experiences and lessons from this night will undoubtedly remain with them, serving as a source of inspiration.
